We at Hobbits Haul / Shire Logistics are Not Brokers, you get to work directly with the owner / carrier. We are a Female Veteran Owned & Operated Business out of Hampton Roads, Virginia. 

We will haul everything from golf carts & motorcycles to show cars & campers Expedited freight services also available. 

We strive to put our customers needs first. We take pride in safe practices every time, there are far to many out there that take shortcuts, sacrificing not only the safety of your cargo but the safety of others on the road. 

As a Motor Carrier, our favorite way is to talk directly to you, the customer, to provide you personalized service and options in your budget.  We have several customer relationships, we sometimes search load boards (such as UShip, DAT and others) and occasionally we work with brokers to help us find loads, to keep us moving to different parts of the country.  

We are a two driver team allowing us to stay moving while single drivers have to stop. This also allows us time to care for our living cargo and give them the attention they deserve. 

In order to be licensed our drivers go through a very long background check. We are registered with the State and Federal Government as a business for transportation and towing purposes.

We have our DOT, MC, TWIC, DCJS & USDA licenses.

DOT & MC numbers are required to haul freight / cargo within the US

DCJS license is required in Virginia for towing 

USDA license is required to transport animals.  

TWIC Card is required to access the secure areas of the maritime facilities and vessels (Shipping Ports).
